The Forest Service recently announced their intent to revise the Tongass National Forest Land and Resource Management Plan. The notice opened a 30-day public comment period and volunteers with the Conservation Affairs Committee (CAC) worked on a tight timeline to draft a comment letter on behalf of AK-TWS. The Executive Board voted to adopt the letter with limited revisions and the comments were submitted ahead of the March 20th deadline. You can read the comment letter at the link below.
